Update: TVNewser is reporting that Anderson and Paula will be co-anchoring from 7-9pm. Anyone else want to pet Miles and Soledad and send them off to bed? Poor things.
Update the second: CNN showed a commercial for the prime time coverage confirming the previous update. So, Anderson tonight.

Something big always happens when Anderson goes on vacation. In December when the tsunami took place, Anderson was on vacation and had to cut it short to go and cover it. Well, I hope he enjoyed his short break, because he's got another horrible story to report.

Yes, I actually remembered this story without looking it up. It was about the Russian school bombing in Beslan. A mother was given the choice of staying as a hostage with her baby and nine year old daughter, or she could leave with the baby. She tried to talk the hostage takers into letting her nine year old daughter leave with the baby, but they said no. When the school bomb went off the nine year old daughter tried to escape and was shot in the back by one of the hostage takers.
